Toyota Aygo | Adding Carplay
To upgrade a Toyota Aygo (2014-2022) with x-nav, x-touch, or basic radio to the three button Carplay/Android Auto unit.
You will need a 86140-YV020 head unit (Peugeot or Citroen branded units will also work)
- Pull on the top to remove the front console cover. You will need to unplug the connection on the push start and/or hazard lights button to move it to one side.

- Pull the top air vent cover upwards to remove it.
- Remove the left side screw only

- Pull the head unit forward and unplug all the connections

- If you have x-nav, unplug the cable in the port labeled USB on the hub and plug this into the new head unit. The short cable at the top port of the hub will remain disconnected.
If the Hub / x-nav is connected Carplay and Android Auto will be disabled.

- Connect the other cables into the new head unit, then push the unit to clip back in.
- Put the screw back in and refit the air vent cover.
- Reconnect the button and push the front cover back on.
- Connect the phone via USB cable or insert a third-party Wireless CarPlay adapter into the USB port.
- Allow the connection on your phone, and CarPlay is now working.
