FastLane and Adaptive Fast Transition
Adaptive Fast Transition
Enabled on WLANs by default
Enables 802.11r but only for newer Apple IOS devices
802.11 is advertised by the AP in a special IE, Supported IOS clients ask for 802.11r as they associate
Devices that do not support this never see 802.11r is offered and won’t be able to use 802.11r
No need to configure any FT security options for this to work

FastLane
QOS configuration macro enabled on the WLAN. Mostly improves voice on Apple IOS devices
Applies configuration globally when enabled on the first WLAN, as well as on the WLAN
If AVC is enabled will also create a special AVC profile and apply it to the WLAN
You can undo most of the global settings through a global option, this will revert to default not previous values.

config qos fastlane enable 1
